This website is owned and operated by Kanela. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors a place to book hair and makeup services with Kanela. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
When paying your deposit, you agree that: (i) you are responsible for reading the full item listing before making a commitment to pay it: (ii) you enter into a legally binding contract to pay the deposit when you commit to pay the deposit and you complete the check-out payment process.
The prices we charge for using our services are listed on the website. We reserve the right to change our prices for our services displayed at any time, and to correct pricing errors that may inadvertently occur. Additional information about pricing and sales tax is available on the payments page.
We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these pages periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.

Refunds, Cancellations & Lateness:

A non-transferable and non-refundable deposit is required to secure all makeup and hair bookings

Clients running more than 15 minutes late will result in Kanela being able to cancel your booking as she may have other bookings after you.

Your appointment cannot be extended due to lateness

Illness and Contradictions:

For the safety of all people, Kanela may refuse to provide a makeup or hair service if you have any of the following:

Bacteria, fungal, parasitic or viral infections (includes cold sores, conjunctivitis)

Head lice
-
Known medical conditions or any allergies which may affect treatment

These conditions must be disclosed to the makeup artist so appropriate action to avoid infection can be taken and a risk assessment can be performed.

In the event that illness prohibits your makeup service to be performed at the time of the appointment, the deposit will not be refunded.
